Telemachus and his women

Telemachus has an array of women in his life. The above picture is of his main squeeze, Lola.

How do you know you are old and ridiculous? When you and your friends are having a pre-Christmas Eve sleepover where your dogs exchange gifts. Lola doesn't know it yet, but a very large golden lab named Zoey is coming to spend the night.

On a more serious note, two more poems of mine were picked up for publication. Both of them are van Gogh poems. One is a pantoum and the other is a prose poem.

Lola is hilarious! Can't get enough dog images these days. Congrats too, on publication. And yes, which journals?

Thanks ladies. The journal is The Innisfree Poetry Journal. I am excited because it is online (most of my pubs are print), and it has a picture of Ireland on the site along with a spectacular Yeats poem. The poems selected are "Half-Light" and "Sitting in front of Sunflowers at The National Gallery." "Van Gogh's Asylum Days" and "My Irish Summer" got picked up a few weeks ago by Harpur Palate. Happy Holidays everyone.

"This Irish Summer" is an older one. I wrote a different poem just called "Irish Summer," but I guess I will have to change the name.
